Description

All applicants are required to review these program application guidelines and the ISO General Funding Guidelines and the eligibility checklist before completing the application in the ISO Apply portal.

All applicants to this program must meet with an ISO program manager or representative prior to completing an application.  Please contact funding@iso-bea.ca to set up a meeting. 


Introduction

Development of the Indigenous Screen Sector is a key component to the ISO’s mandate. This program recognizes that training, skills building, professional development and sectoral capacity building are critical to ensuring the continued momentum and sustainability for the Indigenous screen sector. Initiatives supported through this program may include: 

  • Production training programs that will support the career development of at least three Indigenous creators, crew members or workers;

  • Youth programs in screen-based media;

  • Labs, workshops, training initiatives, conferences, festivals and events;

  • Services that address sectoral gaps;

  • Innovation strategies to support Indigenous screen creators and industry professionals.

This grant is open to Indigenous Companies, Organizations and band councils and settlements; BIPOC Non-Profit and other Non-Profit Organizations; and registered charities.
