This ISO Development grant offers support towards project development activities for Indigenous screen content creators, recognizing that time and resources are critical to the creation of strong content. Many Indigenous creators undertake extensive protocols and community-engagement work during this phase, and ISO support is intended to support these practices. We encourage ISO applicants to this program to access this funding for anything needed to develop the project idea such as cultural and community engagement work, engagement with experts, consultants, mentors, or knowledge keepers or other professional development in relation to the project including: story editors, business advisors, research advisors, or technical expertise.
This Grant is open to Individuals, Sole Proprietors, Collectives, Communities and Groups for one (1) project, and Companies for a slate of projects.
